Lesson Plan
This class will be divided into 5 lessons, which goes as follows:
- Lesson 1: The Creation Myths
- Lesson 2: Deities
- Lesson 3: Fantastical Creatures
- Lesson 4: Kami and Other Spirits
- Lesson 5: Folklore
Assignments
Japanese Mythology is a one term class with monthly lessons. Every single one of these lessons will be accompanied with one homework assignment and one extra credit option. There will be no final exam or term project. As each of these assignments is worth 30 points, you can therefore earn up to 300 points, but in order to pass this class, you only need to earn a minimum of 150 points.
All work should be sent to [email protected] in text format and in the body of the email. No attachments will be accepted. Make sure to send in your homework and extra credit separately. The subject of your email should be "Japanese Mythology - HW# or EC# - HOL ID".
Also, remember to include your full HOL name, HOL ID, and House name in the body of the email as well. If you have any questions regarding this class, feel free to send me an email.

Late Assignments
All assignments are due on the final day of their respective month. If you need an extension, please try to notify me at least 2 days prior to the due date.
Quills and Awards
One quill will be awarded to students who pass this course. Awards will be given to the top point earners from every house and to those who turn in the most creative assignments throughout the term.
